This is Ricky, my 5 year old dachshund. He started out on a Friday night acting lethargic and by Sunday he was showing signs of IVDD. Monday, he became paralyzed - I rushed him to the emergency surgeon, and he had surgery on his spinal cord the following day, January 17th, 2011.
