About your designer: A volunteer for a therapy dog group, I currently have two certified therapy dachshunds with whom I visit nursing homes on weekends. I am also heavily involved in animal rescue and foster, rehab, socialize & train dogs, cats and kittens.
I have adopted some of my unadoptabIe fosters and many had very high vet bills (dental work, diagnostics, blood tests, x-rays, etc). I started Woofs & Whiskers as a clever way to enjoy my passion for sewing & baking, my love for animals and my need to fund the continuing cost of rescue and rehab. I often donate finished pieces to rescue fundraisers - please ask. I also offer a great discount to 501(c)3 rescues in need of items like belly bands and cat toys.
